Eminem's New Look Explained: Why His Face Is So Much Thinner
Slim Shady is looking especially, well, slim these days. Eminem caused a bit of a stir earlier this month when he took the stage at the Wall Street Journal‘s Innovator of the Year Awards in New York City on Nov. 5.
The Grammy winner, 42 — real name: Marshall Mathers — looked noticeably thinner than he has in the past. Fans worried his newly angular face was a sign that he wasn’t well, but a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly that it’s actually quite the opposite.
A friend of the six-years-sober rapper tells Us that his new look is a good thing. The pal credits the change to Eminem making better choices for himself and his body — like exercise.
“He jogs and eats well,” the source says of the star, who has been to rehab twice. “He’s healthy and happy!”
